Kubernetes: Deploy ASP.NET Core Application with Database

Problem Statement:

• Write a YAML file to create a Pod and Service for the ASP.NET Core application that connects to the previously deployed database.
• Ensure the application has the correct environment variables to connect to the database Service.
• Apply the YAML files and verify the application is running and can interact with the database.

Lab Objective:

Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to:

• YAML file creation for Kubernetes Pods and Services to deploy an ASP.NET Core application.
• Configuration of environment variables for the ASP.NET Core application to connect to a database Service.
• Deployment verification and testing of the interaction between the ASP.NET Core application and the database.

You should install the following software on your machine:

• Virtualization Software
• Minikube
• Kubectl
