Node:Node, EJS and REST API CRUD

Description

In this guide, you will learn about implementing end-to-end REST APIs using the NodeJs and MongoDB where we will take an example of Product and Categories to perform the CRUD operation through the EJS framework of express as well as other operations such as Listing, Paging, and Sorting along with the Product APIs.

Lab Objective

Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to:

• How to configure the express app with Routing
• Working with the Product APIs and operations such as paging, sorting, and searching
• Perform CRUD operation and test the APIs using the API testing tool
• CRUD UI using the express framework called EJS

Prerequisites

You should have a basic understanding of the expressjs routing flow, a way of implementing the MVC architect pattern, and a basic understanding of the MongoDB & mongoose libraries. And this guide used some of the Bootstrap elements so you can have some understanding of it as well.
